Catch the bugs… with your tongue
Here is a party game that stands out. Each player wears a green chameleon head in front of the mouth, held by an elastic cord, with a red roll-out tongue that works like a party blower. The aim: catch the right bug cards on the table, without using your hands.
The bug cards are illustrated, coloured green or red and numbered. They stand up on their base, which makes them easy to aim at. A deck of numbered cards comes with the game: draw a card, then everyone looks for the matching bug and tries to catch it with their tongue.
The fun is all in the move: aim, roll out the tongue at the right moment and bring the card back, with the chameleon head on your face. Clumsy moments are bound to happen and are part of the fun, for the players and for the people watching.
Two versions are available. The 2-player version includes two chameleon heads, for a head-to-head match. The 4-player version includes four, with more cards, to liven up a bigger table. The pieces are light and easy to put away after the game.
It is a fun Christmas gift idea, to open with family or friends, and a good way to swap some screen time for shared laughter. Simply clear a table so that every bug card is easy for each player to see.
