This climbing Santa gives the tree a small moving character and somewhere to climb. The decoration pairs a red-suited Santa, a green gift bag, a ladder and a star-shaped detail to hang it.
The ladder gives the character a clear route, while the bag and the familiar suit make him recognizable even at a distance. The whole scene rests on one simple idea: a tiny Christmas visitor, busy on a task of his own.
He quickly becomes the focal point of one part of the tree, among still baubles and ornaments. Rather than filling the whole room, he draws attention to one spot in the display.
Plan a suitable mounting position and leave room around the mechanism for its movement. Keep branches and other decorations clear of the working parts when you arrange the tree.
