A place for every small part
A dropped screw can turn a quick repair into a long search under the workbench. The Magnetic Tool Mat gives steel screws, nuts, bolts, washers and small tools a place to stay while you work.
Its magnetic surface holds compatible metal parts where you put them. You keep a clear view of what you are taking apart, in order, and find each piece more easily when it is time to put everything back together.
The mat is flexible: it can follow a curved work area, such as a car wing or bonnet, or lie flat on the workbench. Its textured black face and red edging make it easy to spot among your tools, even in a busy garage.
Four options are available: small at 117 × 117 mm, medium at 320 × 104 mm, large at 320 × 245 mm, or the set with one mat of each size. The mat is 7.5 mm thick. It works with magnetically attracted metals: aluminium, brass or non-magnetic stainless steel will not be held.
The large size holds all the screws from a full strip-down, while the long medium size fits along a tool or on the edge of a workbench. The small square size slips easily into a toolbox for quick jobs. With the set of three, you can even sort hardware by stage or by size, and store each mat flat once the job is done.
Handy for hobbies too: adjusting a bike, assembling a shelf, repairing a household appliance or servicing a lawnmower. Whenever small steel parts need to wait their turn, the mat keeps a place for them.
